The solid-state Allen-Bradley 150-F625JHA is a three-phase SMC Flex smart motor controller that has a NEMA Type 12, IP54 enclosure rating and 230-240V AC control voltage. Its controller rating consists of 625 A and 500 HP at 460V AC, while its input line voltage is 200 to 208V AC at 50 and 60 Hz. The motor current ranges from 208 to 625 A and its maximum HP is 200 HP at 60 Hz, both at a 200-208V AC rated voltage. Motors that are line-connected, particularly Wye-delta, six-lead, and standard squirrel-cage induction motors are compatible with the 150-F625JHA controller. Its room temperature should also be between -5 and 40 °C when this controller is operational and between -20 and 75 °C if not in use or if it is in storage.

 

This controller comes with an LCD that has a backlight, 4 auxiliary contacts that users can program, status indicators, and a keypad input on the front. Its status indicator can detect the controller’s stop, start, speed, fault, and alarm statuses. Various faults are detected by this controller, such as jam, phase reversal, voltage unbalance, communication fault, excessive starts per hour, open gate, underload, line fault, undervoltage, overload, stall, power loss, controller temp, and overvoltage. The 150-F625JHA controller also features various start and stop modes and these are the current limit start, dual ramp start, soft start, preset slow speed, soft stop, full voltage, and linear speed acceleration. Both 2-wire and 3-wire controls are available for this controller and this lets users use the 150-F625JHA controller for different applications.
