The 150-FPP108B SMC Flex Power Pole is a 3-phase power pole for the Allen-Bradley SMC Flex Smart Motor Controllers which offers digital-control starting for 3-phase induction motors in most critical applications. The 150-FPP108B Power Pole is a Series B power pole with a modular design and a heatsink hockey puck thyristor. The 150-FPP108B Power Pole is designed for the 108 Amps and  75 Horsepower-rated controllers, and it can be used as a replacement part for the 150-F108NBD, -NBR, -NBDB, -NBRB, -NBDD, and -NBRD SMC Flex controllers. The SMC Flex controllers offer flexible programming, control, diagnostics, and troubleshooting via the 3-line by 16-character LCD on the front panel and a 5-button keypad which is also on the front of the controller.

The SMC Flex Smart Motor Controllers that the 150-FPP108B Power Pole is compatible with offer the Selectable Kickstart, Full Voltage, Soft Start, Current Limit, Dual Ramp, Linear Speed Acceleration, Preset Slow Speed, and the Soft Stop modes as standard starting and stopping modes, and they also offer pump control and smart motor braking as factory-installed control options. All SMC Flex controllers are equipped with 4 fully programmable auxiliary contacts (N.C. and N.O.), which can be programmed with the Normal, Up-to-Speed, Fault, Alarm, Network, or the External Bypass functions. The SMC Flex Smart Motor Controllers family offers 3 voltage classes for the open-type product line (200 to 460 Volts AC, 200 to 575 Volts AC, and 230 to 690 Volts AC) and 4 voltage classes for the non-combination enclosed line (200 to 208 Volts AC, 230 Volts AC, 400 to 460 Volts AC, and 500 to 575 Volts AC).
