The Allen-Bradley 150-FPP43B SMC Flex Power Pole is a modularly designed power pole that is intended for the Allen-Bradley SMC Flex Smart Motor Controllers and designed for the microprocessor-controlled starting for 3-phase squirrel-cage induction or Wye-Delta (6-lead) motors. This controller family offers the Soft Start, Selectable Kickstart, Dual Ramp Start, Current Limit Start, Preset Slow Speed, Full Voltage Start, Linear Speed Acceleration, and Soft Stop modes as standard operating modes and in addition to these modes, they also offer factory-installed pump control and a braking control options for even more flexible and enhanced performance. The 150-FPP43B Power Pole belongs to Series B of the SMC Flex controller accessories family and it is available as a replacement kit for the 150-F43NBD, 150-F43NBR, 150-F43NBDB, 150-F43NBRB, 150-F43NBDD, and 150-F43NBRD SMC Flex controllers. The 150-FPP43B Power Pole is compatible with 200 to 480 Volts AC, 30 Horsepower rated circuits, and it has a maximum current rating of 43 Amps.

The Allen-Bradley 150-FPP43B Power Pole ships as a complete assembly consisting of the pole itself, 2 fastening screws, connecting cables (or connecting to a control module, and an instruction sheet for easy installation. The SMC Flex controllers that the power pole is used with offer flexible parameter programming via the DriveTools programming software and the parameter values can be downloaded directly to the controller using Bulletin 20 communication modules and the DPI communication interface. The SMC Flex controller also offers simplified control and diagnostics via a 3-line by 16 -haracter LCD screen and a 5-button programming keypad which includes an up and down arrows, an Enter button, a Select button, and an Escape button. The SMC Flex controllers support 2-wire and 3-wire control wiring to accommodate a wider range of applications, and they also come with 4 programmable auxiliary contacts for additional control.
