The Allen Bradley 150-A240JCD solid-state motor controller is a high-performance device tailored for rigorous industrial applications. Designed for robust performance, this controller accommodates input line voltages within the range of 200 to 600V AC in a 3-phase configuration. The unit effectively supports motor loads rated at 240A while effectively delivering power from 5 to 200 horsepower at 480VAC.

Constructed with a NEMA Type 12 enclosure type, the 150-A240JCD provides protection against moderate dust and non-condensing moisture. It delivers high reliability even under stress, featuring a shock resistance rating of 30 G for a brief duration of 11 milliseconds and a vibration endurance of 2.5 G over a period of 60 minutes.

To ensure operational stability, the controller incorporates dv/dt protection through an RC snubber network alongside transient protection using metal oxide varistors rated for 80 joules. The device can adjust initial torque settings within a range of 0 to 70% of locked rotor torque, providing flexibility based on motor requirements.

The controller is engineered for smooth performance, allowing for various soft stop durations, including times of 5, 10, 15, 25, 35, 45, 55, and 110 seconds. The initial across-the-line starting ramp time is efficient at 0.1 seconds, minimizing mechanical stress during startup. Additionally, current limit settings can be configured for either 15 seconds or 30 seconds, permitting advanced control of motor operations. Selectable soft start times are also available, providing options of 2, 5, 10, 20, 25, and 30 seconds to optimize performance. Notably, the repetitive peak inverse voltage rating stands at 1600 V, maintaining reliability even with the highest input line voltage rated up to 600 V.
