The Allen-Bradley 152H-WBC-63 is part of the SMC-50 Series of smart motor controllers. The Allen-Bradley 152H-WBC-63 features a 120 Volts control transformer, a current rating of 700 Amps, 600 Volts AC line voltage at 60 Hertz frequency, and it operates with a motor that produces 700 Horsepower. The Allen-Bradley 152H-WBC-63 has a three-pole thermal overload relay with fewer elements than other drives and it is enclosed in a NEMA Type 1 Ventilated enclosure. The Allen-Bradley 152H-WBC-63 has an energy saver that saves energy on applications where the motor is loaded lightly or not loaded for long periods of time. During the soft start method, the smart motor controller is raised to an initial torque value which is adjustable from 5 to 90% of the locked rotor torque. The Allen-Bradley 152H-WBC-63’s motor voltage subsequently increases during the acceleration ramp time that is adjustable from 2 to 30 seconds. This configuration provides the best starting performance of the required load range. It consists of dual-purpose LEDs that indicate the smart motor controller unit’s status; it gives the indication of the temperature faults, a stalled motor, line faults, stopping mode, start faults, energy saver mode, running mode, control voltage present, and the starting mode. The 152H-WBC-63 has a resistance of 2.5 g to vibration for 60 minutes while its resistance to shock is 30g for 11 milliseconds. It fits in an operating temperature range of 32 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit, the temperature range for storage is -40 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit, 6560 feet is the maximum operating altitude, and 5 to 95% is the non-condensing ambient relative humidity range.
