The 153H-WBC-61 is SMC-50 Series Smart Motor Controller manufactured by Allen-Bradley. It offers a cost-effective solution and has an easy and convenient installation process. The 153H-WBC-61 has a 3-phase squirrel-cage induction motor which is controlled by micro-computers. It comes with a line voltage range from 200 to 480 Volts AC or 200 to 600 Volts AC. It is available in both enclosed and open designs and it also has different models to control various other motors with varying Horsepower and current values. It has a power and control circuit operation frequency of 50 to 60 Hertz and it needs a 40 Volts Amps control power.
With the 153H-WBC-61, there is a variety of starting modes. It comes with a soft start with selectable kickstart to overcome stiction for high-friction loads. It also has a current limit start for in-rush content to be limited during acceleration and a full voltage start to achieve a full in-rush current and locked rotor torque.
