The Allen-Bradley 100-C85VA10 AC Contactor is a low-power, high-performance contactor designed to control motors and other loads. This contactor belongs to the Allen-Bradley Bulletin 100-C contactor series, and it is built around a space-saving design to provide low-cost control. Despite its size, it possesses enough switching power for use with high starting current motor applications. The Bulletin 100-C contactors like the 100-C85VA10 Contactor features AC or DC control with reversible load and line side terminals for smooth wiring and control processes. The 100-C85VA10 Contactor also features standard auxiliary contacts that support both front and side mounting. The 100-C85VA10 Contactor supports panel mounting or 35-millimeter DIN rail mounting, and its internal components are made from environmentally friendly materials. The 100-C85VA10 Contactor offers 3-pole AC connections. Each pole has 2 separate power connections for simplified wiring and high connection reliability.
The 100-C85VA10 Contactor is designed to offer high levels of user protection and functionality. Each internal circuit is electrically isolated and the contacts are positively guided according to the IEC 947-5-1 standards. For a more flexible and modular starter system, the 100-C85VA10 Contactor can be used with any of the Allen-Bradley Bulletin 193 overload relays. The 100-C85VA10 Contactor has a single auxiliary contact with spring-clamp type terminals on the AC coil line side terminals. It also comes with an AC coil control module with 230 to 240 Volts AC control power ratings. Each of the 100-C85VA10 Contactor’s contacts has a maximum switching voltage rating of 690 Volts AC and a continuous current rating of 85 Amps. It also has a switching power rating of 25 kilowatts at 230 Volts AC and 45 Kilowatts at 690 Volts AC (50 Hertz).
