The 100-D180D11 is an Allen-Bradley IEC magnetic contactor from the 100-D series. This contactor is a non-reversing type that comes with a conventional coil rated 110 VAC, 50 Hz, and 120 VAC, 60 Hz with an operating current of 180 Amperes. With a non-reversing type, the 100-D180D11 has a single circuit that can be used for direct control of connected motors such as starting and stopping. It may also be used in Forward / Reverse applications however, at least a pair of 100-D180D11 is used to implement such control action. The 100-D180D11 is designed for direct panel mounting via the mounting screw holes pre-molded to the contactor’s enclosure. The contactor’s terminals are screw-type, threaded thru-hole terminals which are designed for use with hexagonal socket screw coupled with a ring lug with a minimum diameter of 8.3 mm. The recommended tightening Torque is 22 N-m or 195 lb-in. A terminal lug kit may be used with this contactor with catalog number 100-DL180 with a cross-section of 6…300 MCM and tightening torque of 88-106 lb-in. The 100-D180D11 has a pick-up rating operating limit of 0.85…1.1 and a drop-out operating limit of 0.3…0.5 at 50 Hz, 60 Hz, and 50/60 Hz frequencies. It has a closing delay of 20-45 ms and an opening delay of 25-110 ms. It comes with auxiliary contacts with a rated voltage of 600 VAC and 600 VDC, a continuous current rating of 10 Amperes at 40 Degree Celsius for general-purpose loads. This contactor carries certifications from CE, cULus, SUVA, and CCC for 115-180 A contactors with conventional coil and 115-860 A contactors with an electronic coil.
The 100-D180D11 contactor is an industrial 100 Series contactor. It is part of the Bulletin 100-D product range from Allen-Bradley. It includes 1 normally open and 1 normally-closed auxiliary contact. The rated operational current for the 100-D180D11 contactor is 180 Amps at 400 Volts AC (3-phase). The rated operation current at 690 Volts AC (single-phase) is 250 Amps. The 100-D180D11 contactor is a non-reversing contactor. At 50 Hertz, the power ratings for the contactor are 55 kilowatts at 230 Volts, 90 kilowatts at 400 Volts, 90 kilowatts at 415 Volts, 110 kilowatts at 500 Volts, 90 kilowatts at 690 Volts, 132 kilowatts at 1000 Volts, and 110 kilowatts at 200 Volts. At 60 Hertz, the power ratings for the 100-D180D11 contactor are 50 Horsepower at 230 Volts, 60 Horsepower at 460 Volts, and 125 Horsepower at 575 Volts. The rated isolation voltage for the Allen-Bradley 100-D180D11 contactor is 1000 Volts according to the IEC standard and 600 Volts for the UL/CSA standards. The rated impulse voltage withstand for the contactor is 12 kilovolts. The required ambient conditions for the 100-D180D11 contactor include a -40 to 80 degrees Celsius storage temperature range, -25 to 60 degrees Celsius operation temperature range and a maximum of 2000 meters (6600 feet) altitude for installation. The protection class for the contactor is IP 00 UIEC 605290 and DIN 40050. The auxiliary contacts on the contactor are rated for IP 20 IEC 60529 and DIN 40050. The coil on the contactor is conventional. The contactor features an integrated PLC interface. The Bulletin 100-D contactors are designed with a mirror contact which is intended to prevent a change of state for NC auxiliary contacts in the event of a weld on a power contact.
