The 100-DCE-860 is a renewal part that belongs to the 100-D series of IEC magnetic contactors. This part number refers to 3 sets of 3 pole contacts that are rated 860 Amperes which is compatible for use with the 100-D860, non-reversing, magnetic contactor. Being a renewal/replacement part, the 100-DCE-860 is intended to replace the existing contacts of the 100-D860 as these contacts may corrode or exhibit poor connection during overtime, affecting the operation of the electrical device. With a set of 3 contacts per pole, the user may opt to replace the entire contact terminals or only the identified failing contact. The 100-DCE-860 contact kit is comprised of screw-type, threaded thru-hole terminals. It is specifically compatible for use with a hexagonal socket screw which ideally pairs to a ring lug with a minimum hole diameter of 8.3 mm. When tightening connections to these terminals, applicable tightening Torque is 22 N-m or 195 lb-in. In addition, an accessory terminal lug kit with part number 100-DL180 may be used with the 100-DCE-860. This terminal lug kit has a cross-section of 6-300 MCM and requires tightening torque of 88-106 lb-in. When replacing the existing main contacts of the 100-D860, line power must be removed first. As a standard, proper Lock-Out, Tag-Out (LOTO) exercise should be observed to avoid energizing of the contactor’s supply line during servicing of contactor. Being part of the 100-D IEC contactors, the 100-DCE-860 is discontinued last July 13, 2020, with no planned Rockwell Automation brand replacement as well as migration product however, the 100-D series are designed to be migrated with the 100-E IEC new generation contactors.
The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation replacement set of main contacts with the catalog number 100-DCE-860 is intended for usage with the contactors that are available through the 100-D product line in the 100 Contactors series. The 100-DCE-860 set of main contacts features 3 poles and it is delivered as a complete set with all the necessary parts included. The 100-D product range offers electronic and conventional coils for both AC and DC applications. The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 100-DCE-860 100-D replacement set of main contacts are made of industrial-grade materials which are environmentally friendly. The AC contactors have 3 main contacts and can be of the reversing or non-reversing type. Both the AC and DC-operated contactors use the same number of main contacts. The 100-D contactors use thru-hole screw terminals of the threaded type. The current rating of these contactors is 630 to 860 Amps.
Yes, the 100-DCE-860 includes a free 2-year DO Supply warranty. You can upgrade to a 3-year warranty at checkout for even more protection.
