The Allen-Bradley 100-E16KD10 AC/DC Contactor is a 3-pole contactor that supports DIN Rail/panel mounting. It is part of the Bulletin 100E Large Frame IEC contactor family within the IEC 100 Contactors series. The 100-E16KD10 Contactor is made with environmentally-friendly components, and it is built around a space-saving blueprint to fit into any tight-space applications. The 100-E16KD10 Contactor, like all the Bulletin 100E contactors, has significantly reduced weight in addition to significantly reduced dimensions to save installation costs. The 100-E16KD10 Contactor has standard AC/DC type electronic coils which provide low switching energy to drive the contacts. This coil has screw-type wiring terminals, and it comes with Class F insulation for circuit protection. The coils have a 100 to 250 Volts AC/DC switching voltage range at 50/60 Hertz coil frequency.

The 100-E16KD10 Contactor’s main circuit also has screw type terminals and they support direct-on-line connections which remove the need for additional interposing relays. The main circuit has AC/DC operating voltage ranges of 115 to 575 Volts AC (at 50/60 Hertz) and 24 to 440 Volts DC. The main circuit also has an operating current capacity of 16 Amps at 440 Volts and 30 Amps at 690 Volts and a maximum switching Horsepower rating of 15 Horsepower at 575 Volts AC. The 100-E16KD10 Contactor has an IEC rated isolation voltage of 690 Volts AC and a maximum impulse voltage withstand rating of 6 kilovolts. The 100-E16KD10 Contactor comes with an IP2X rated enclosure which houses the contactor contacts and coils and prevents the users from touching the hazardous internal parts. The 100-E16KD10 Contactor has 3 main power contacts as well as one normally open auxiliary contact.
