The Allen-Bradley 100S-C85DJ14BC Safety Contactor is an electromechanical contactor that is designed to meet the needs of modern-day industrial safety applications that require both feedback and safety monitoring. This safety switch device belongs to the Bulletin 100S-C safety contact family, which features positively guided contacts and built-in mechanically-linked auxiliary contacts that will not fault when the power contacts weld. The 100S-C85DJ14BC Safety Contactor comes with 4 gold-plated bifurcated auxiliary contacts which are ideally suited for feedback circuits or low-energy applications with multiple normally closed contacts connected in series. The 100S-C85DJ14BC Safety Contactor has a 24 Volts DC control coil with an integrated diode, and maximum pickup and dropout times of 20 to 40 milliseconds and 80 to 125 milliseconds, respectively. This DC control coil comes with standard line-side contacts. It has a maximum current rating of 85 Amps and a maximum switching rating of 45 kilowatts at 690 Volts AC.

The 100S-C85DJ14BC Safety Contactor has voltage ratings from 230 Volts AC to 690 Volts AC, and it has a maximum impulse rating of 8.0 Kilovolts. The 100S-C85DJ14BC Safety Contactor has 4 Normally Closed (NC) auxiliary contacts that conform to the mirror contact performance requirements.
