1100-AOA93

The 1100-AOA93 Contactor is a vacuum contactor that has been manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation as part of the Bulletin 1100 Contactors product line. This 3-phase vacuum contactor features a voltage rating of 1500 Volts AC at maximum, and a current rating of 180 Amps at maximum, and it has a coil voltage range of 200 to 240 Volts at 50/60 Hertz frequency. Generally, the Allen-Bradley Bulletin 1100 series vacuum contactors are specially engineered and intended for use up to a maximum of 1500 Volts AC like the 1100-AOA93 Vacuum Contactor is, but the maximum voltage level for these contactors can be as high as 3300 Volts AC when a special insulating barrier is installed in place of the standard safety shield that these vacuum contactors come with.

When the optional insulating barrier is added, the non-reversing contactors with current ratings of 180 Amps (like the 1100-AOA93 Contactor), 200 Amps, 350 Amps, and 450 Amps can be used with voltages of up to 3300 Volts if the applications require it. Typically, these contactors are used in applications in the petroleum, hoists, mining equipment, pumps, conveyors, process equipment, chemical processing, and metal processing industries.
