The insulated end should be positioned towards the encoder. Using the supplied screws, attach the adapter to the motor. The screw should be tightened using a torque ranging between 2.3-2.8 N-m. The encoder shaft should then be inserted into the coupling. Once the user has positioned the encoder on the adapter, the servo clamps should be rotated into the groove on the encoder. The servo clamps should then be tightened. The coupling should also be tightened into the encoder shaft. Lastly, the user should check for proper operation.
