The Allen-Bradley 1326AB-A2E11K4 servo motor has a 108 mm frame diameter and its maximum operating speed of 3000 rpm. Its rated motor speed is also 3000 rpm. This servo motor has a flange and keyway for its shaft. It has no motor rated torque but has a motor rated output of 1.1 kW. The 1326AB-A2E11K4 also has a system continuous torque of 3.6 Nm with a system peak stall torque of 10.84 Nm. It also has a standard option of 8.1 Nm holding brake w/90V DC coil.

The installation of the 1326AB-A2E11K4 servo motor is not a very difficult process. It is a simple process when the manual is followed is followed properly. Before installation, the user has to take note that if the motor is currently wired into a system, all the power to the motor has to be removed before the installation of the adapter so that a shock hazard can be avoided. Then remove the back plate from the end of the motor. The shafts should be cleaned to remove oil and any other substance that might cause destruction.

The supplied flexible coupling in the 1326AB-A2E11K4 servo motor has an insulating sleeve on one end. It protects the servo motor against heat from the encoder. The insulated end should be positioned towards the encoder. Using the supplied screws, attach the adapter to the motor. The screw should be tightened using a torque ranging between 2.3-2.8 N-m. The encoder shaft should then be inserted into the coupling. Once the user has positioned the encoder on the adapter, the servo clamps should be rotated into the groove on the encoder. The servo clamps should then be tightened. The coupling should also be tightened into the encoder shaft. Lastly, the user should check for proper operation.
