The Allen-Bradley 1326AB-A740B21 is a ferrite AC Servo Motor that is mounted using an IEC metric flange with keyway mounting and a shaft, which should be done with the motor mounted vertically at any angle and the shaft of the motor either angled up or down, and it has a rated output of 8.3 kW. It has a 194 mm frame diameter and 215 mm bolt center, as well as a maximum operating speed of 1600 rpm and motor speed of 2000 when used with the 1391-DES. The continuous stall torque of the 1326AB-A740B21 motor is 56.5 N•m or 500 lb•in, its amperes at continuous torque are 38.5, and its peak stall torque is 132 N•m or 1168 lb•in. Note that at stall or 0 rpm, the continuous-rated output torque of this motor is 100%.

The 1326AB-A740B21 brushless motor is only compatible with the Allen-Bradley 1391 series Digital AC Servo Drives that have a 230V AC input voltage and high-performance motion requirements. It has a TENV construction and its aluminum housing has fins installed that aid in increasing heat transfer and that cool the motor much faster. This specific housing of the motor has been created in such a way that the torque ratings of the 1326AB-A740B21 motor are increased without the need to increase the length of the motor and to increase the motor’s servo response, this motor comes with special flux profile permanent magnets. This motor also features a thermal switch that is normally closed and is located on the motor winding, which is used for the indication of the thermal overload.
