The Allen-Bradley 1326AB-B420E-S2L is a Ferrite AC Servo Motor with a single-turn high resolution or absolute feedback, a 460V AC voltage rating, and a maximum operating speed of 3000 rpm at 460V AC and 2500 rpm at 380V AC. This motor has a 108 mm frame diameter, with a 115 mm bolt center, motor length of 20, and an IP67 enclosure rating. Part of the Torque Plus series, the three-phase 1326AB-B420E-S2L motor is brushless and can only work with a 1391 Digital AC Servo Drive that has an input of 230V AC and it is for applications involving high-performance motion. When mounting this motor, users can have it with the shaft up or down at any angle when vertically mounted.

The 1326AB-B420E-S2L has the same system continuous torque and motor rated torque, specifically 5 Nm or 44 lb•in. It also has a 1.1 kW motor rated output, a 2.84 A system continuous stall current, and a 6 A system peak stall current (when using an AM03 axis module) or an 8 A system peak stall current (when used with an AM04 or AM07 axis module). This motor’s continuous rated output torque is 100% at a stall or at 0 rpm.

The 1326AB-B420E-S2L’s housing is specially designed to reduce the length while increasing its torque ratings and the motor features special flux profile permanent magnets that result in an increased servo response. For thermal overload indication, the 1326AB-B420E-S2L motor comes with a thermal switch (normally closed) in the motor winding. This motor also has a TENV construction with fins installed on its aluminum housing, resulting in an increased heat transfer.
