The 1326AB-B720F-21-K7 servo motor is a high-performance servo motor from Allen-Bradley. It has a maximum operating speed of 5000 revolutions per minute. The 1326AB-B720F-21-K7 servo motor has a shipping weight of 62.6 kilograms and a rotor moment of inertia of 0.0173 Kg-m2. The servo motor is part of the Allen-Bradley 1326AB series of high-performance motors. Servo motors in this series accommodate the use of an integral holding brake. The brake is a disc-type of brake which is spring-set activated when the power is removed. The brake is designed to hold a load at rest and to provide limited braking torque for emergency stopping. Note that this brake is not intended for use as a complete stopping brake.

The 1326AB-B720F-21-K7 servo motor’s brake cannot be continuously cycled when stopping a load. Note that the brake has a maximum backlash of 0.8 arc-minutes. Also, to minimize the chances of personal injury and of damage to property, the times that the brake is energized or de-energized should not exceed 90 times within 60 minutes. This applies when the brake is being used as a holding brake. Note that a holding brake is meant to hold a load when the servo motor’s shaft is at 0 revolutions per minute. The 1326AB-B720F-21-K7 servo motor, like other servo motors in the same series, supports the use of a shaft oil seal. A Viton shaft oil seal is recommended and it can be purchased separately and installed in the field. The seal is applicable where the 1326AB-B720F-21-K7 servo motor is installed in an environment where occasional oil splashes are likely and also where low-pressure water jets are likely.
