This series of Torque Plus Motors from Allen Bradley was designed and manufactured to raise continuous torque ratings, lower motor length, and satisfy the high requirements of top performing motion systems. The 1326AB-B730E-21-X05 belong to this series of motors. It is a three-phase, AC powered, synchronous without brushes motor, designed to be used with the Ultra3000 Digital Servo Drives series, an Allen-Bradley 1394 Motion Control System, the Kinetix 6000 Servo Drives series, or with the 1394 system, via the SERCOS interface. The 1326AB-B730E-21-X05 features a 194-millimeter frame diameter and a motor speed of 3350 RPM; it also has TENV construction and an IP65 enclosure rating. This motor can be mounted in any direction, regardless of which direction the shaft is facing and its extruded aluminum housing allows heat to be transferred more efficiently. Servo responses can be increased with Allen Bradly’s special flux profile management magnets that are installed. At zero rpm (stall), the motor produces 100% non-stop rated output torque. Its insulation system is UL listed and it has a CEI/IEC 72-1 metric flange mount with metric shafts. The motor gives an indication of thermal overload via a thermal switch (rated at 115V AC/24V DC at 1A) in the motor winding. It comes standard with resolver-based feedback which enables it to more readily withstand hotter operating temperatures, unaffected by harsh vibration and shock. The motor has a number of feedback options, namely a multi-turn encoder, an absolute single and multi-turn encoder, and a rugged, brushless resolver. Ruggedly built, this module’s high-voltage windings, using heavy-duty wire, a stator system, and insulation, guarantees a smooth and reliable operation.

The 1326AB-B730E-21-X05 has a voltage of 460 to 380 Volts AC. It has a motor rated torque of 39 N-m and a motor rated output of 9.6 kW. The system continuous torque is also 39 N-m, while the system peak stall torque is 85.4 N-m; it can also reach speeds of up to 7250 RPM.
