The 1326AB-B740C-21-ML servo motor is an AC-powered servo motor with a metric flange, a high-resolution multi-turn encoder, and a 4-inch magnet stack. The 1326AB-B740C-21-ML is a member of the Allen Bradley series of brushless, synchronous, Torque Plus AC Servo motors uniquely designed for seamless performance and high uninterrupted output for 460 Volt systems.  Its specially crafted casing lessens the motor length and raises the ratings of its continuous torque.  It can be used with Allen Bradley 1394 Motion Control Systems, Ultra3000 Digital Servo Drives, and Kinetix 6000 Servo Drives.  It can also be used with the 1394 using the SERCOS interface.

The 1326AB-B740C-21-ML comes with a bundle of uniquely engineered features, among which are an aluminum housing that improves heat transfer, the ability to be mounted vertically at various angles with the shaft either up or down, and smooth operation at low speeds as a result of its three-phase, sinusoidal-wound stator field. It has a UL listed insulation system, gives thermal overload indication in the motor winding (rated 115V AC/24V DC at 1A) via its thermal switch (which is normally closed), increases servo response through its installed Allen Bradley’s special flux profile permanent magnets, and has an IP67 rated enclosure.  It has TENV construction can maintain 100% uninterrupted rated output torque at zero rpm (stall) with couplings that can be secured through the threaded hole situated on the face of the shaft, and it possesses a metric flange mount (CEI/IEC 72-1) with metric shafts.

It has a rated power of 8.7 kW, a rated speed of 1800 RPM at 380 Volts and 2200 RPM at 460 Volts, a rotor inertia of 0.032 kg‑m² (0.29 lb-in.-s²), a continuous stall current of 20.0 Amps, a torque of 53.0 N-m (469 pounds on an inch) and a peak torque of 126.8 N-m (1122 pounds on an inch). The 1326AB-B740C-21-ML is also a multi-turn configuration high-resolution encoder feedback servo device.  This allows precise machine positions over multiple revolutions and removes the need for the machine re-homing on power-up.  There is no need for batteries for this recollection feature as it possesses an on-board EEPROM memory used for storing its configuration information.
