The 1326AS-B31OH-21 by Allen Bradley is an earth servo motor with built-in neodymium-iron-boron permanent magnet rotors that provide low inertias, high accelerations, and high peak torques. With a compact design and brushless 460 Volt servo motors, this device is to be combined with a 1394 Motion Control System. Its high torque to inertia rating, supported by its neodymium-iron-boron magnet rotors, gives faster acceleration for light machinery.

A crucial feature of the 1326AS-B31OH-21 is its Integral Holding Brake; this disc-type brake system can easily be spring-set after the removal of power. It is designed to hold a load at rest, but can also provide limited braking torque for an emergency stop. This brake is NOT meant to be used as a positioning brake or as a continuously cycled break (in the case of stopping a load). When used as a parking brake it should not be energized more than 90 times in an hour in total, as it is not designed to stop motor movement unless and until a power interruption has taken place.

The 1326AS-B31OH-21 also comes with a Nitrile shaft oil seal kit that is suitable for installation on the motor shaft in the field.
