The 1326AS-B33OH-21 is a rare earth servo motor by Allen Bradley, featuring a unique combination of neodymium-iron-boron permanent magnet rotors that allow low inertia, high accelerations, and high peak torques. This module is designed to be compact and economical, functioning well in harsh environments. The 1394 Motion Control system, also by Allen Bradley, is the most suitable system for these brushless 460 Volt servo motors. This particular model housed in an aluminum casing, improving its heat transfer.
The disc type brake in the 1326AS-B33OH-21 is designed to hold a load at rest but does allow for limited braking torque during an emergency. Its primary purpose is to hold a stationary load, and it is not designed to stop motor movement without a power intervention. Though the brake is effective as a parking brake, it is NOT designed to be used as a positioning brake or to continuously cycle to assist in stopping a load.
The 1326AS-B33OH-21 includes a Nitrile Shaft oil seal kit that can be installed in the motor shaft in the field.
