The 1326AS-B420G-21 servo motor is a brushless servo motor from the Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation Bulletin 1326 series. It is designed to operate with as little inertia and friction as possible, and it uses powerful neodymium-iron-boron magnets to achieve this goal. The 1326AS-B420G-21 brushless servo motor houses its neodymium-iron-boron magnets in a 2-inch stack. It can operate at a rated speed of up to 5250 RPM at a voltage rating of 460 Volts AC. The 1326AS-B420G-21 brushless servo motor’s rated output power is 1.2 kilowatts.

* The Allen Bradley 1326AS-B420G-21 has been discontinued by the manufacturer, however we specialize in obsolete parts and can likely still supply surplus and/or refurbished replacement 1326AS-B420G-21 units instead of migration.
The Allen-Bradley 1326AS-B420G-21 drive features neodymium-iron-boron permanent magnet rotors which provide very low inertia, enhanced accelerations, and high peak torques. The drive is compact and environmentally rugged, and it has brushless servo motors which users are supposed to use with the 1394 motor control modules. The controller comes in an economical compact model that can work in harsh industrial environments. The available neodymium-iron-boron magnet motors supply enhanced torque-to-inertia ratings for quicker light machinery acceleration. Another feature is the three-phase sinusoidally wound stator field for smooth operation at minimum speeds.
The 1326AS-B420G-21 comes with an extruded aluminum casing for an elaborate control of heat transfer within the system. There is the normally closed thermal switch within the motor and it is used to achieve thermal overload indication so that the users can avoid physical complications that result from the overheating. The rugged two-pole brushless resolver issues the users with accurate position feedback and does away with the need for onboard electronics, and it can also withstand high operating temperatures, harsh shocks, and high levels of vibration. The resolver feedback produces 1024 A Quad B encoder output. The 1326AS-B420G-21 can be mounted easily at any angle that the user prefers, with the shaft up or down. The 1326AS-B420G-21 comes with the Junction Box Kit which permits the available motor connectors to be mounted axially without the need for additional wiring. Users can use the shaft oil seal kits for installing a nitrile shaft within the field. In this case, there is no need for the motor to be disassembled. On installing the shaft seal, the motor becomes dust-tight and it can withstand the pulsating water jets and also meet the IP65 requirements of the IEC 529 benchmark.
