The 1326AS-B420G-21-K4 AC servo motor is a part of the 1326AS series of rare-earth magnet servo motors manufactured by Allen-Bradley. Its stator windings are packed in a 100-millimeter diameter (frame 4 size), but a powerful rotor magnet still enables it to have 28 pounds on an inch of motor rated torque. The power rating of the 1326AS-B420G-21-K4 servo motor is 1.2 kilowatts. It can work with voltages between 380 and 460 Volts AC, which will result in nominal speeds of 4340 RPM and 5250 RPM, respectively. In the back of this IEC flange-mountable servo motor is a resolver that follows the position of the keyed shaft. This feedback device sends 4096 pulses per revolution to speed control devices. To achieve the best performance with this device, it is advised to connect it to a compatible Allen-Bradley AC servo drive like an AM03, AM04, or AM07 drive. The Allen-Bradley 1326AS-B420G-21-K4 servo motor is protected by a special aluminum enclosure with an IP 65 protection rating. It supports 40 degrees Celsius maximum ambient temperature (without derating). When the ambient temperature at 40 degrees Celsius, or even below it, the motor enclosure’s temperature can reach approximately 100 degrees Celsius, so it is dangerous to touch the motor’s surface while it is in operation.
