The 1388B-AV20 servo controller is a controller unit manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. These servo controllers are offered in 2 versions: Series A and Series B. As can be seen from the product code and letter “B” added to the series number, this product is a Series B model. All 1388 controllers have a set of standard features and identical mounting equipment and functions. The 1388B-AV20 servo controller also includes features such as logic supply under voltage detection, a tachometer voltage input range of 3 to 135 Volts DC, a shunt regulator and power bus regeneration circuit, an MOV protected input, a line/DB contactor, a complete PMW servo amplifier, RMS armature thermal overload detection, and a dynamic braking resistor.
