The 140-MN-0250 is a motor circuit breaker that is part of Allen-Bradley’s Bulletin 140 / KTA 3 product family. This circuit breaker is specifically designed for use with 3-phase motors, providing short-circuit and thermal overload protection. This circuit breaker supports DIN rail mounting only with a current adjustment range of 1.6 Amperes to 2.5 Amperes (Thermal release) and 28 Amperes (Magnetic Release). It has a maximum tripping current of 120% of the Full Load Current (FLA) The 140-MN-0250 adjustable trip settings are provided by the circular dial that can be adjusted using a precision screwdriver. It is also provided with a trip indicator provided on the upper right side of the front panel and a stop/reset button situated at the opposite side of the trip indicator. Similar to other circuit breakers, incoming line connection is terminated to the L1 (1), L2 (3), and L3 (5) terminal on top of the device while the outgoing line is terminated to the bottom of the device labeled T1 (2), T2 (4), and T3 (6) wire terminals. Appropriate wire size for use with the terminals ranges from # 16 thru 10 American Wire Gauge (AWG). Use Single or stranded copper wire with an insulation rating of 75 Degree Celsius. Tighten connection by applying 20-26 lb-in of force to each terminal. This circuit breaker is installed by simply snapping onto a DIN rail. Align the top side of the breaker to the DIN rail and introduce a slight tilt toward the top portion to align the grooves to the DIN rail. Once the grooves are aligned, gently push the device to the DIN rail until a snapping sound is heard.
The 140-MN-0250 circuit breaker is a motor protection circuit breaker by Allen-Bradley. It offers an easy way to disconnect motor circuits in a short circuit and overload conditions. These devices are each equipped with a visible trip indicator which lets the operators know that the circuit breaker has tripped. It is a three-phase device and it comes with three poles. The 140-MN-0250 circuit breaker has a voltage rating of 600 Volts AC. The circuit breaker can be used with both single-phase and three-phase applications. It is a Series D device. It comes with a tripping current rating of 120% FLA. It comes with a stop/reset feature in the front panel. The breaker comes with a start and stop buttons that are green and red, respectively. The 140-MN-0250 is certified with the CE, IEC 947, and EN 60947 standards. The 140-MN-0250 circuit breaker has a current rating of 28 Amps. It supports various interruption ratings.
