The 140M-I8P-C15S-M circuit breaker is a motor protection circuit breaker device that helps to disconnect the circuit and provide short circuit magnetic protection and overload thermal protection and it also helps with manual switching. The circuit breaker offers a visible trip indication feature which makes it easier to determine the trip. The circuit breaker has a voltage rating of 480 Volts AC and a current rating of 15 Amps. This I Frame circuit breaker has a high breaking magnetic/thermal trip. The breaker runs with a frequency of 60 Hertz. The 140M-I8P-C15S-M circuit breaker has a trip range from 45 to 150 Amps. The power rating of the circuit breaker is 1.1 to 1.5 Horsepower of output at 220 to 230 Volts AC, 1.5 to 2 Horsepower of output at 230 Volts AC, and 3 to 5 Horsepower of output at 460 Volts AC. It is mainly used for thermal overload protection.

The 140M-I8P-C15S-M circuit breaker has line side and load side lug terminals. It can be used with the NEMA Size 1 combination starters, soft starter controllers, and the Allen-Bradley variable frequency AC drives. The terminal is made up of non-aluminum material. The front side of the breaker is equipped with a lever to turn it on and off manually. A bolt-in mount is used to mount the circuit breaker. The ambient environment temperature should lie between -25 and 60 degrees Celsius for operation, and between -40 and 80 degrees Celsius for storage. The circuit breaker uses a bimetallic element for a thermal trip action which deflects the current flow through the circuit for a longer period of time. The 140M-I8P-C15S-M circuit breaker has a lifespan rating of more than 25,000 operations. The minimum clearances should be provided during the mounting of the circuit breaker to allow enough airflow.
