The Allen-Bradley 140M-I8P-D10S-CX Motor Protection Circuit Breaker (MPCB) comes with an I Size Frame, 3 poles, and with 205 Amps of frame current. It has 600 Volts AC of rated operational voltage and 100 Amps of rated current. The protection option for the circuit breaker is adjustable magnetic protection and the circuit breaker's breaking capacity is a high break capacity. The 140M-I8P-D10S-CX Motor Protection Circuit Breaker has 1 NO and 1 NC (left) auxiliary/trip contact. Its approximate weight is 4.5 pounds. The adjustable magnetic trip of the circuit breaker is designed to protect the host motor by preventing over-current conditions. Since the 140M-I8P-D10S-CX Motor Protection Circuit Breaker has both thermal and magnetic protection capabilities, additional relays are not required.

The 140M-I8P-D10S-CX Motor Protection Circuit Breaker is UL and CSA listed and it provides protection and control functions for individual motor branch circuits without additional protective devices. It comes with a compact design, a high breaking capacity, and a wide range of accessories. This reduces both panel space requirements and costs in multi-motor installations and it eliminates the need for traditional overload relays and contactors. It has several key controls and protection functions that are required for single or multi-motor installations. The circuit breaker has an ergonomic handle which provides clear statues indication as to whether the device is on, off, or tripped. Its motor overload protection functionality protects the motor from thermal overload. This MPCB provides disconnect functionality for maintenance purposes. When using this circuit breaker, the interconnections between the drive and the motor must be as short as possible while maintaining the manufacturer's length recommendations. This motor protection circuit breaker provides electrical protection for a variety of industrial motor control applications. Its compact design allows the users to fit more accessories into the panel with less wasted space.
