The 1410-NX110 heater is a solid-state motor winding heater device manufactured by Allen-Bradley. It is an automated device that can help prevent condensation from forming in the windings of the electrical motor. It is a three-phase winding heater with a current rating of 25 Amps. It is also a Series B device with an input voltage rating of 460 Volts AC. The heater comes with contacts/terminals which can be connected to the device. The frequency rating of the heater ranges between 50 and 60 Hertz. The rated power of the heater is 20 Horsepower. The minimum current for the connections is 25 Amps in this heater variant. This Bulletin 1410 series heater is mostly used with squirrel cage motors run by full voltage starters. No adjustment is required during the operation of this device. The operating temperature range for the heater is 0 to 50 degrees Celsius. The winding heater is certified with the UL and CSA standards and it is made for global use.
The Allen-Bradley 1410-NX110 heater takes in voltage from its input power source and it delivers the voltage to the windings which in turn protects the motor windings against condensation. It is also equipped with a metal oxide varistor device which protects the motor when there is a surge in the voltage. The 1410-NX110 motor winding heater is compact in size and it saves installation panel space. When supplying voltage to the motor windings, the variation in the line voltage can create a variation to the motor winding by +/-5%. A coil is present in the 1410-NX110 motor winding heater which radiates heat in all directions to prevent humidity from building up around the windings.
