The Allen-Bradley 1494V-DH611 switch is an industrial variable-depth flange-mounted disconnect switch. This switch has all the relevant industrial ratings, and it can be used in flange-constructed enclosures that are up to 24 inches deep. The 1494V-DH611 disconnect switch is a 3-pole switch, with a 600 Volts AC rating, and 30 to 600 Amps of current. It can house Class H, J, and R fuses, which are available in fusible and non-fusible versions. Any accessory that is installed with the 1494V-DH611 disconnect switch should be NFPA 79 compliant. The 1494V-DH611 disconnect switch should be connected to the handle every time. A visible blade construction for safety can be used with different enclosure types like 1, 3R, 4, 4X, and 12, and the lockable handle should be in either the off or on positions.

The 1494V-DH611 fusible disconnect switch, on the other hand, includes a switch, metal handle, connecting rod, fuse clips, and a trailer fuse block. Additional accessories include a defeater bracket extension kit that can be used together with operating handles that do not align well with a door catch or the door hardware on enclosures that come with a rolled lip flange design.
