The 1494V-DN200 disconnect switch kit is a non-fusible disconnect switch kit. This kit belongs to the 1494V series of disconnect switches from Allen-Bradley. The 1494V-DN200 kit works only with three-phase AC input voltages and DC input voltages. At 250 Volts DC, the output power rating is 40 kilowatts. As per the IEC application requirements, at 50 Hertz frequency, the maximum output power ratings are 45 kilowatts at 220 to 240 Volts AC, 90 kilowatts at 380 to 440 Volts AC, and 110 kilowatts at 500 to 600 Volts AC. and as per the UL and CSA applications, at 60 Hertz frequency, the maximum output power ratings are 50 Horsepower at 200 Volts AC, 60 Horsepower at 230 Volts AC, 125 Horsepower at 460 Volts AC, and 150 Horsepower at 575 Volts AC.

The 1494V-DN200 disconnect switch kit comes without a fuse cover. The continuous current rating for the 1494V-DN200 kit is 200 Amps. Accessories that need to be ordered separately from Allen-Bradley to complete the switch package include a connecting rod, an operating handle, a fuse clip kit, and a fuse block kit. The maximum recommended altitude for the installation of the 1494V-DN200 kit is 2000 meters. For optimal operation, the ambient temperature around the 1494V-DN200 kit should be kept between -20 to 60 degrees Celsius. Unused switches should be kept in an area where the ambient temperature is maintained between -40 and 65 degrees Celsius. The mechanical life of the 1494V-DN200 kit is 8000 operations. At the rated current, the electrical life of the switch is 6000 operations. The dielectric strength is 2200 Volts for a time period of up to 1 minute. At 600 Volts AC or at 250 Volts DC, the short circuit withstand capability of the 1494V-DN200 kit is 10,000 Amps.
