1494V-DS200

The 1494V-DS200 switch kit is a switch kit that belongs to the Bulletin 1494V line of disconnect switches from Allen-Bradley. The 1494V-DS200 switch kit is field convertible from right-hand flange operation to left-hand flange operation. The operating handle and connecting rod for the 1494V-DS200 switch kit need to be ordered separately. The current size/rating of the 1494V-DS200 switch kit is 200 Amps and it can be used with both DC and AC line voltages. The maximum operational voltage of the 1494V-DS200 switch kit is 660 Volts AC. The maximum output power specifications for the 1494V-DS200 switch kit according to the NEMA, UL, and CSA standards are as follows: 150 Horsepower at 575 Volts AC, 125 Horsepower at 460 Volts AC, and 60 Horsepower at 230 Volts AC. The DC power rating at 250 Volts is 50 Horsepower. The DC output power rating is based on the utilization of two poles in series for breaking one line of the DC supply voltage while the third pole breaks the second DC supply line.

Two connecting rods can be ordered for the 1494V-DS200 switch kit: a rod with catalog number 1494V-RA1 which is suitable for enclosures with minimum depths of 172 millimeters and maximum depths of 232 millimeters, and a rod with catalog number 1494V-RA2 which is suitable for enclosures with a minimum depth of 232 millimeters and a maximum depth of 585 millimeters. Three different operating handles can be used for the 1494V-DS200 switch kit, and they are the 1494V-H1 handle which supports left or right-flange mounting and can be used with Type 1, 3, 3R and 12 enclosures, the 1494V-W1 handle which supports left or right-flange mounting and can be used with Type 4 and 4X enclosures, and the 1494V-R1 handle which supports only right flange mounting and can be used with Type 4 and 4X enclosures.
