The 1494V-FS200Ā fuse block has been designed as an accessory for use with the Allen-Bradley 1494 switches, especially switches from the 1494V product line. This fuse block has been manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. It is important to understandĀ the importance of fuse blocks when it comes to the functioning of disconnecting switches because this equipment provides space for multiple fuse circuits. These circuits can be independent, meaning that the circuitsĀ can have their own inputĀ and output wires while they share power with all the other circuits. The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 1494V-FS200 fuse block is used with fusible disconnecting switches to enhance itsĀ functioning with independent circuits. It also works as a fuse holder.

The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 1494V-FS200 fuse block is an open type of fuse holderĀ thatĀ contains the switch'sĀ fuses, keeping them protected and properly mounted. It works with equipment within a current rating of 200 Amps. As a spare part of aĀ disconnect switch, it needs to be installed and used within the same environmental conditionsĀ as the switch. An operating temperature range of -30 to 40 degrees Celsius and an altitude of less than 2000 meters is recommended. The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 1494V-FS200 fuse block is manufactured out of phenolic materials and all the wiring and contacts are manufactured out ofĀ copper andĀ painted metal that makeĀ it durable. The recommended relative humidity level is 90%Ā at a temperature of 20 degrees Celsius and 50%Ā at 40 degrees Celsius. Since the switch and fuse blockĀ work with the same current, overheating must be avoided orĀ ventilation equipment must be added.
