The 1494V-M51 circuit breaker kit is a circuit breaker kit that has been designed to be used exclusively with molded-case circuit breakers from the Allen-Bradley 140U-J and 140M-J series and from the EF series by Eaton Cutler-Hammer. This circuit breaker kit has been manufactured and designed by Allen-Bradley. Circuit breakers can protect equipment against different anomalies in the current. Breakers detect these anomalies and perform a tripping action that impedes current flow into the circuit and this way it avoids accidents and irreversible damages caused. The Allen-Bradley 1494V-M51 circuit breaker kit operates with a current rating of 250 Amps, and this means it only will be compatible with breakers within this current rating. This kit comes with five parts that can be assembled with the breaker. It can be used as a spare part or replacement part when the switch needs it.
The Allen-Bradley 1494V-M51 circuit breaker kit needs to be installed in the housing of the circuit breaker, and this housing must have a depth of at least 25 inches and it is also important that the breaker has a permanent handle installed. The handle can be positioned on the right or left side of the breaker. The kit comes designed to work with both of these two positions. The Allen-Bradley 1494V-M51 circuit breaker kit can be used without any inconvenience in the same environmental conditions as the original breaker. It is important to recall that the kit can only be used with breakers within the right specified ratings and models from the right series to avoid future problems during operation.
