The 1497A-A7-M18-1-N transformer is a standard 1497 series machine tool transformer from Allen-Bradley. It comes with optional fusing and it has an operating frequency of 50 to 60 Hertz. It is a single-phase device with an output power rating ranging between 50 and 3000 VA. The primary input voltage of the transformer lies between 208 and 575 Volts AC with the same 50 to 60 Hertz frequency ratings. The output or secondary voltage ranges between 24 and 120 Volts AC. The transformer provides insulation for different temperature rises at different voltage level. The 1497A-A7-M18-1-N transformer meets the cULus, CSA, and the UL standards. The transformer helps to decrease the voltage supplied to the control circuits. It protects the circuit from damages that are caused due to voltage surges. The transformer can be mounted on the industrial floor by using bolt screws. No neutral leg is present in this transformer variant.

The 1497A-A7-M18-1-N transformer comes with multiple input taps which allow for voltage flexibility while the output voltage is used for control circuitry. The transformer has more than 2000 Vrms of dielectric strength. It is equipped with an IP 20 rated touch-safe terminal which makes it easier for operators to run the transformer. The transformer comes with an enhanced insulation system. The leakage current of the transformer is less than 100 micro-Amps. The 1497A-A7-M18-1-N transformer is manufactured with low impedance windings for better voltage regulation and it can accommodate the high inrush current associated with the starter device, solenoids, and relays. The coil of the transformer is manufactured by using high-quality materials, which in turn provides the same efficiency over a long period of time.
