The 1799-COV20E cover is an embedded input and output module’s plastic cover that is manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. It belongs to the 1799 Embedded I/O product family and it is intended to leverage proven design technology at a reduced cost. The module that this cover protects is an embedded printed circuit board (PCB) that provides a standard interface between input devices and machine actuators. The Allen-Bradley 1799-COV20 plastic cover is specially made for use with the 20-point board that has 4 screws that are used for Ethernet devices as well as 4 stand-offs which are also used for the Ethernet connection.
