The direct online (DOL) starting method ensures that motors start smoothly and efficiently when powered by a control supply of 110/120 V AC.

For improved performance and security, this model features a fixed overload setting of 18 A and is compatible with motors rated from 7.5 HP to 10 HP, corresponding to 6.3 kW of output. With a short-circuit current rating (SCCR) of 65 kA, it effectively protects against fault conditions, while the NEC fuse limit of 600 A adds an extra layer of safety in installations. Mounting options are versatile, allowing easy screw or rail installation, with screw terminals facilitating solid connections.

Additionally, this starter includes an auxiliary contact combination with one normally open contact, plus an internal arrangement of one normally open and one normally closed contact, providing functional versatility. An optional side auxiliary contact can be added, expanding operational functionality with another normally open and normally closed configuration.
