The Allen-Bradley 2090-U3AE-D4409 Ultra 3000 CN1 (44-pin) cable is a 2-axis pre-wired cable belonging to the Allen-Bradley Ultra 3000 interface cable family that is designed for connecting 2 or more Ultra 3000 drives to the Allen-Bradley 1756-M02AE ControlLogix analog motion module. The 2090-U3AE-D4409 cable is supplied as an assembly cable kit comprising a 9-meter interface cable, a pre-wired 1756-TBCH terminal block, and an installation sheet. The 2090-U3AE-D4409 cable has a 2-axis (Axis 0 and Axis 1) D-sub, high-density 44-pin connectors with a 45-degree-angle black PVC overmold coating that can be connected to one or more Ultra 3000 drives on one end and a pre-wired 36-pin cage-clamp removable terminal block (the 1756-TBCH) for connecting to the Allen-Bradley 1756-M02AE ControlLogix analog motion module on the other end.
The pre-wired Allen-Bradley 1756-TBCH connector end on the 2090-U3AE-D4409 cable comes with a standard removable housing that protects the 1756-TBCH removable terminal block connector when it is connected to the module. The 1756-TBCH connector end has a single wire connection with 36 solid or stranded copper conductor wires with a 22 to 14 AWG wire size and an overall outer diameter of 0.46 inches. The 2090-U3AE-D4409 cable’s 2-axis CN1 connectors have 44 pins each (1 to 44) but it does not carry the unbuffered motor encoder signal on CN1 pins 10 to 15. For proper installation, pins 28 and 30 must be connected to a 12 to 24 Volts DC user-supplied power source. Also, pin 31 (Input 1) and pin 39 (Output 1) must be configured as the “Drive Enable” and “Ready” pin, respectively, by using the Allen-Bradley Ultraware configuration software. The 2090-U3AE-D4409 cable has a maximum cable length of 9 meters and a storage temperature range of -55 to 85 degrees Celsius.
