The 2090-UXNBMP-18S60 brake cable is a non-flex motor brake cable that is available from Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. It is made out of industrial grade thermoplastic elastomer with straight motor connectors. The length of the cable is 60 meters and the wire size is 18 AWG. This Series A servo motor brake cable can be used with servo motors from the 1326AB series of servo motors and the MP series of servo motors. It comes with a black cable jacket, a bayonet connector at the motor side, and a flying lead connector at the drive side. This cable is a type of a power cable with a 600 Volts voltage rating. The 2090-UXNBMP-18S60 brake cable provides the required sealing for achieving shield termination and environmental ratings.

The Allen-Bradley 2090-UXNBMP-18S60 brake cable is UL listed and CSA certified to meet industrial standards. The black and white wires of the brake cable must be connected to Pins 43 and 44 of the CN1 connector of the drive control interface. The BR- and BR+ brake ports of the MPL-B, MPG-B, or the 1326AB (M2L/S2L) servo motors must be connected to the black and white wires of the brake cable, respectively. This brake cable is designed to be used with Kinetix drive systems and it is intended for static applications. The overall features of the cable deliver excellent EMC/EMI performance. It is included in the Servo System Declaration of Conformity (DoC) from Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation.
