The 2090-UXNFBY-S30 encoder feedback cable belongs to the 2090 series of power and feedback cables that are designed by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. Some of the features of this cable include a black cable jacket, and non-flex and straight motor connectors. This standard non-flexible cable has larger conductors to simplify the termination setup at the drive side. The 2090-UXNFBY-S30 encoder feedback cable has been designed for quick connections with its straight connectors at both ends. This feedback cable is made out of industrial grade thermoplastic elastomer. It comes with 300 Volts voltage ratings and 30 meters of total cable length. Its configuration options and accessories provide complete control of the cable requirements in the users' applications.

The 2090-UXNFBY-S30 encoder feedback cable is included in the Rockwell Automation Servo System Declaration of Conformity. Its efficient feedback system is fully digital and it provides accurate motor feedback while simplifying the design of the system. The main responsibility of this cable is to transmit digital feedback from feedback devices such as sensors and limit switches to control elements of the system. The 2090-UXNFBY-S30 incremental encoder feedback cable is designed to work with the N-Series of motors. The 15-pin motor feedback cable can be connected to N series servo motors as shown below. All 15 pins except Pins 6 and 7 are connected to the incremental encoder feedback signal cables. It also has an installation bend radius of 10 times the cable diameter and it needs regular maintenance. The bending diameter must be maintained when routing the cable between the motor and drive.
