Allen-Bradley manufactures the 500-DOB930 Contactor as a NEMA AC/DC contactor which is part of the Bulletin 500 Contactors series. Most contactors in this product line, including the 500-DOB930 AC/DC Contactor, have a NEMA size of 3 but either no enclosure or the open style NEMA type of enclosure. This contactor features a nominal coil voltage of 440 Volts at 50 Hertz frequency as well as a nominal coil voltage of 480 Volts at 60 Hertz frequency. Other notable features of Allen-Bradley 500-DOB930 AC/DC Contactor include its 3 power poles with one Normally Open (NO) auxiliary contact. It has a base contactor that is a size 3 base contactor and it has a continuous current rating of 90 Amps. This contactor has all of its power connections on the top to enhance wiring convenience. It also allows for field-wiring to enhance its use with both 3-phase and single-phase applications. Additionally, there are devices that have NEMA sizes 00 and sizes 5 to 9, that are only come as factory-assembled devices and not as components or kits like the 500-DOB930 NEMA AC/DC Contactor.
