The Allen-Bradley 500-EOD940 NEMA AC/DC Contactor is an open type top-wired contactor. It is manufactured by Allen-Bradley as part of Bulletin 500 Contactors series and it has all its power connections at the top side for wiring convenience. Additionally, the 500-EOD940 Contactor can be field wired specially for use with single-phase and 3-phase applications in the field. This NEMA AC/DC contactor can come as either individual components, or as a modular kit which enables faster delivery and installation. The individual components can be used to build a customized contactor or for maintenance and upgrades on a current contactor. It comes with a coil with a 120 Volts AC voltage rating, and it also has one NO auxiliary contact along with a load side terminal shield for protection as standard features along with the top-wiring setup.

The Allen-Bradley 500-EOD940 Bulletin 500 NEMA AC/DC Contactor features a NEMA size of 4, and it has a continuous current rating of 135 Amps. Additionally, it has an open type of NEMA enclosure along with a nominal coil voltage rating of 110 Volts at 50 Hertz and one of 120 Volts at 60 Hertz frequency. The Allen-Bradley 500-EOD940 NEMA AC/DC Contactor features 4 power poles as well as one normally open or NO auxiliary contact.
