The 500-GON930 contactor is an Allen-Bradley AC contactor. This NEMA size 6 contactor may be used with AC motors with up to 400-Horsepower power ratings. With 3-phase input, the maximum motor rating with the plugging and jogging duty at 575 Volts AC voltage is 300 Horsepower. With 3-phase input, the maximum motor rating with the non-plugging and non-jogging duty at 575 Volts AC voltage is 400 Horsepower. With three-phase input, the maximum motor rating with the plugging and jogging duty at 230 Volts AC is 150 Horsepower. With 3-phase input, the maximum motor rating with the non-plugging and non-jogging duty at 230 Volts AC is 200 Horsepower. The coil on the 500-GON930 contactor is rated at 380 Volts AC at 50 Hertz. The maximum voltage and current ratings of the contactor are 600 Volts AC and 621 Amps, respectively.

The continuous current rating of the 500-GON930 contactor is 540 Amps. The maximum circuit closing inrush current, including the offset, is 6326 Amps. The 500-GON930 contactor is a 3-pole contactor with a single normally-open auxiliary contact. The contactor comes in an open enclosure. In contrast to other Bulletin 500 contactors, the 500-GON930 contactor supports feedthrough wiring. Lugs for the 500-GON930 contactor need to be ordered separately from Allen-Bradley if they are required. The power contacts and auxiliary contact on the device are made from silver alloy and pure silver, respectively. Electrical wire rated for 75 degrees Celsius or higher must be sized according to the local electrical code before it is connected to the contactor. The 500-GON930 contactor can be operated at altitudes of up to 3050 meters before its output starts to derate.
