The Allen-Bradley 500-HOD930 contactor is a NEMA size 7 contactor. It belongs to the Bulletin 500 family of Allen-Bradley contactors. The main purpose of a contactor like this one is to switch an electrical circuit off or on and it is controlled by a circuit at a lower power level than the power level that is required by the switched circuit.
