The Bulletin 500L series 500L-COA93 contactor is a contactor designed and manufactured by Allen-Bradley. The 500L-COA93 contactor is available in an open enclosure. The contactor should be installed in an industrial cabinet to protect it from hazardous environmental conditions and elements which could damage it. Furthermore, the use of a cabinet is also required when using the 500L-COA93 contactor in environments containing flammable gases that can cause explosions. Corrosive elements in the ambient environment can damage the metal parts on the 500L-COA93 contactor such as the magnetic poles, which can cause the contactor to operate erratically. Therefore, periodic inspection should be performed to ensure that any issues with the poles are identified and the contacts can be serviced or repaired if required.

The 500L-COA93 contactor is a 3-pole contactor rated for a maximum voltage of 600 Volts AC and for 60 Amps current. The contactor coil is rated for 230 to 240 Volts AC at 60 Hertz. The coil can also be used at 220 Volts AC and 50 Hertz. The wiring on the contactor is done on the top side, which facilitates the wiring process.
