The Allen-Bradley 592-A2NF overload relay is an eutectic alloy solid-state overload relay. It belongs to the Bulletin 592 product line. The 592-A2NF overload relay is a manual reset thermal type of overload device. In conjunction with short circuit protection, it is designed to provide protection against overheating for motors and motor controllers. The 592-A2NF overload relay features an optical indicator which lights up when the relay is tripped. The 592-A2NF overload relay is rated for 600 Volts AC and 96 to 300 Amps. The 592-A2NF overload relay is a Class 20 device and it is designed for installation on size 5 starters. The 592-A2NF overload relay is designed for 3-phase applications at 50 to 60 Hertz. The rated thermal current for contacts is 5 Amps. The rated insulation voltage is 600 Volts.

The body of the 592-A2NF overload relay is made of thermoplastic. The contact material is fine silver. The terminal marking is NEMA and Cenelec EN 50012. The maximum recommended wire size for use with the 592-A2NF overload relay is 4 to 500 MCM AWG. Control terminals 1 or 2 are rated for the 12 AWG wire size.
