It is required to have a mounting plate so that it can be positioned properly. This relay is usually attached to an SMP-3 NEMA starter. It is recommended to use 120 to 240 Volts AC rated coils on this kind of starter. This part needs to be used in a controlled environment with relative humidity below 95 percent.
