The 592-EC2CC is an electronic overload relay that is manufactured by Allen-Bradley. This electrical device has a microprocessor-based overload detection capability that is part of the E3 plus sub-category which comes with an integrated ground fault sensor. The 592-EC2CC has an adjustable current trip range of 5-25 Amperes with a NEMA nominal operating voltage of 600 V and IEC nominal operating voltage of 600 V / 1000 V. The 592-EC2CC comes with an automatic and manual reset capability. Aside from the internal ground fault sensor, this electronic overload relay is also capable of detecting Overcurrent (Jam) Detection, stall detection, underload detection, current imbalance, and adjustable phase loss detection. In addition, this device features a thermal memory circuit intended to provide an approximation of thermal decay, applicable in trip class 30 configuration. The device’s time to trip estimation is accessible via the DeviceNet network. The 592-EC2CC comes with an integrated DeviceLogix communication capability, accessible using the RSNetWorx for DeviceNet Version 3.0 or higher version. Supported function blocks of this device include typical Boolean instructions such as AND, OR, Exclusive OR (XOR), and Invert (NOT).
