The Allen-Bradley 802T-ALP Oil-Tight Limit Switch is a rotary switch from the Bulletin 802T heavy duty oil-tight limit switch family. This switch series is designed to meet industry standards such as the UL, CSA, and CE standards. They feature NEMA Type 4, 13, and 6P ingress protection ratings and they are designed to operate within a 0 and 130 degrees Celsius temperature range. The Bulletin 802T limit switches are designed to provide heavy-duty operation ratings in a compact and rugged NEMA Type 13 oil-tight construction. The 802T-ALP Limit Switch has simplified front mounting hardware for easy installation. It also features plug-in style terminals for simplified wiring. The 802T-ALP Limit Switch is a plug-in lever type switch with a return spring, and it is suitable for applications such as transfer machines, conveyor systems, milling and boring machines, radial drills, and a host of high-speed production equipment applications.

The Allen-Bradley 802T-ALP Limit Switch features side rotary operation with an exceptionally quick mode change capability from clockwise operation to counter-clockwise operation. The 802T-ALP Limit Switch has a maximum rotating angle of 90 degrees with 13 degrees of minimum contact travel distance and 7 degrees of maximum contact reset travel. The 802T-ALP Limit Switch has an A600 (AC-15) NEMA designated rating of 600 Volts AC maximum (in a 120 to 600 Volts AC operating range) and a continuous current rating of 10 Amps. It also has a B600 (AC-15) voltage rating of 600 Volts AC (at 120 to 600 Volts AC voltage range) and a carrying current rating of 5 Amps. The 802T-ALP Limit Switch’s contacts have make and break contact ratings of 12 Amps and 1.2 Amps, respectively, and maximum make and break power ratings of 7,200 Volts-Amps and 720 Volts-Amps, respectively.
