The Allen-Bradley 802T-AMTH0020 Limit Switch is an electro-mechanical device that is physically activated by the contact of any object or surface that is able to cause enough movement of the switch for engaging or disengaging the electrical contacts contained in the switch. The Allen-Bradley 802T-AMTH Limit Switch comes from the factory for independent circuits, and it is designed to maintain its last state until the force that is pressing the lever is removed. When this happens, the pressure accumulated in the lever spring under tension automatically causes the lever to go back to the starting position. Designed for installation in industrial job sites, this electromechanical limit switch is made to last and it comes from the factory with a NEMA 4/13 environmental protection rating, and a sturdy oil-tight construction.

The Allen-Bradley 802T-AMTH Limit Switch is capable of withstanding a maximum voltage of 600 Volts AC and a maximum current rating of 10 Amps. Their recommended operation temperature should be maintained between 0 and 60 degrees Celsius (32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit) in order to guarantee precise operation of the switches. The Allen-Bradley 802T-AMTH Limit Switch has been designed to operate in the horizontal position only, and installing it in a vertical position may cause the entrance of water into its case and cause damage (if watertight cable gland accessories are not installed). The lever can be easily configured to turn clockwise or counterclockwise, and the electrical contacts can be manually configured to be normally open or normally closed according to the final user’s needs. Maintenance operations on this limit switch are easy to execute and they can be carried out by any properly trained technician.
