The Allen-Bradley 802T-H2T Electromechanical Limit Switch is a basic automation sensor that is employed for detecting the presence of an object by opening or closing an electric circuit according to the settings and adjustments that the switch’s users have made during installation. The Allen-Bradley 802T-H2T Electromechanical Limit Switch comes from the factory with a NEMA Type 4/13 rated oiltight construction which makes it an ideal limit switch to employ in hazardous and highly polluted industrial environments. Its action mechanism works though a lever actuator that is moved by the load it is controlling and it is provided with a spring return assembly that takes it back to the starting position when conditions return to their rest settings. This switch only allows for counter-clockwise operation. The sensing lever can be moved clockwise, but only for device adjusting purposes.

The Allen-Bradley 802T-H2T Electromechanical Limit Switch has a maximum operating voltage of 600 Volts AC, with an inrush current rating of 10 Amps. It can be used in any applications whose temperature range remains between 0 and +60 degrees Celsius (+32 and 140 degrees Fahrenheit). The Allen-Bradley 802T-H2T Electromechanical Limit Switch is versatile enough to be applied in any type of industrial setting, without any special requirements for its orientation or mounting position beyond the standard ones for industrial limit switches. Using cable gland accessories is an important possibility because they often reduce the ingress of water into the wire connection base of this switch. Appropriate measures should always be taken in order to eliminate the passage of water into the base in order to guarantee a long and trouble-free operating life for this switch.
