This device has been designed for industrial use and its main function is to detect pressure in a system. This controller can operate in pneumatic and hydraulic systems if the specifications are compatible. This specific controller model does not come with a display that shows the pressure measurements, instead, it comes with multiple connection points so that it can reflect the measurements correctly. The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 836-A101AX1 pressure switch comes with a Type 1 enclosure that means that it is not protected from contact with different chemical substances and it must not be immersed in liquids since this could cause damage to the structure of the device.

This pressure switch operates with a voltage range that goes from 240 to 600 Volts AC with a current rating of 5 to 3 Amps, respectively. The pilot duty can operate at 125 Volts-Amps with a voltage range of 240 to 600 Volts AC and at 57.7 Volts-Amps at a voltage range of 125 to 250 Volts DC. The 2 pressure ranges can be adjusted by turning the pilot device clockwise, and its maximum rating is 85 PSI. The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 836-A101AX1 pressure controller switch comes with the option for adjusting the differential setting if needed. If the differential setting is adjusted, the optional pilot device needs to be installed first, and it is meant to be turned clockwise to perform the adjustment.
